Many NPOs became the victims of the March 11th earthquake. Staff perished and newly-built facilities were either flooded or even swept away by the tsunami.
People associated with these NPOs suffered from severe mental blow and physical discomfort. Some NPOs had to discontinue their services.

4 months after the tragedy, the affected NPOs believed they should resume their operations for the community. However, much funding is needed to restore these facilities to their working conditions.
